An anonymous wallet withdrew 175 billion Shiba Inu from the Robinhood exchange, continuing its ongoing collection actions while the SHIB price fell.

Recently, the automated market tracker Whale Alert recorded a massive outflow of Shiba Inu tokens from the well-known American exchange Robinhood.

Specifically, at 10:48 PM (UTC) on May 1, 875 billion Shiba Inu tokens worth more than $19.67 million were transferred from Robinhood to an anonymous wallet. Within a minute of this transaction, an equal amount of SHIB tokens was transferred from Robinhood to an unknown wallet.

Interestingly, these 875 billion Shiba Inu tokens found their new home in the same anonymous wallet “0x73af3bcf”. In total, the whale withdrew 175 billion SHIB tokens worth $3,934,629.2 from Robinhood.

Shiba Inu whale collection continues

As of now, data from Etherscan shows that the recipient wallet still holds the withdrawn SHIB tokens. Additionally, this wallet has been collecting activity for several weeks. During April, it received various digital assets such as AERO, LIBRA, and LINK from other exchanges such as Uniswap.

Prior to the latest 175 billion Shiba Inu inflow from Robinhood, the whale sent 300 billion SHIB tokens to the exchange on April 24. Meanwhile, five days ago, the wallet sent 400 billion SHIB to Robinhood after receiving multiple inflows of Shiba Inu tokens from the exchange.

Overall, the wallet address in question sent 8.7 trillion SHIB tokens to “Robinhood 2” in the past 30 days, although it also had more staggering inflows during the same period. At the time of writing, this whale wallet holds over 588 billion Shiba Inu tokens valued at $1,280,726.3.

Notably, most transactions involving Shiba Inu tokens were made from and sent to the Robinhood wallet with the address “0x73af3bcf.” Combined with the large amount of SHIB it holds, this pattern strongly suggests a connection between wallet “0x73af3bcf” and Robinhood.

Other entities are also hoarding SHIB tokens during the decline

Whale Alert also recorded alarming inflows from trading platforms CryptoCom and Wintermute to anonymous wallets in April. In the past 30 days, the total amount of SHIB tokens accumulated from these two platforms exceeded 115.4 billion.

These collecting sprees continue despite the fact that Shiba Inu is down more than 20% over the past month. As of now, SHIB is trading at $0.00002182, having gained less than 1% in the past 24 hours.
