Top exchange BlueBit has integrated Shibarium, allowing users to deposit and withdraw Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens including SHIB, LEASH, and BONE through the network.
Interest in Shiba Inu’s L2 blockchain Shibarium doesn’t look like it’ll end anytime soon, as another top exchange has added support for the network.
BlueBit is the latest crypto exchange to integrate Shibarium support. Yesterday, the exchange tweeted that Shibarium had been successfully integrated onto its platform.
The exchange anticipates that this integration will strengthen ties between the Shiba Inu and BlueSparrow communities, paving the way for more great achievements.
Shiba Inu and BlueBit's reaction
Commenting on the development, Terri Bennett, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BlueBit, called the exchange’s integration with Shibairum “the best news yet.” Bennett also said she was proud of the BlueBit team for accomplishing the feat.
In addition, the official Shiba Inu X processor also thanks BlueBit for the support of this development.
Founded on March 31, 2022, BlueBit is a centralized exchange based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Since its founding in 2022, the exchange has supported over 100 crypto assets.
Some of these assets include BTC, ETH, XRP, and ADA. It also supports all Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens such as SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.
With the Shibarium integration, users can withdraw their SHIB, BONE, and LEASH tokens from BlueBit to their native Shibarium wallets.
Other Shibarium Support
It’s worth mentioning that BlueBit is not the only crypto exchange that has added support for Shibarium since the launch of the L2 network last year. As Cointelegraph reported earlier, top exchanges like Gate.io and GroveX have already integrated with Shibarium.
Additionally, top wallet providers including Frontier have added support for Shibarium. Other crypto storage platforms, such as Exodus and Atomic Wallets, have also publicly stated that they will support Shibarium in the future.
Shibarium Statistics
As Shibarium continues to gain integration from top platforms, its user activity is expected to soar to unprecedented levels.
In the hours before press time, Shibarium’s total trading volume was 412.2 million. Shibarium’s daily transaction volume, which surged to around 7.5 million in December, has fallen sharply. The network’s daily transaction volume is currently around 6,700.
According to Shibariumscan, the number of Shibarium wallet addresses has reached 1,383,569 (1.38 million), and the total number of blocks minted is approximately 3,819,474 (3.81 million).
