ChatGPT predicts that central banks have an 85% chance of adopting XRP to save the global financial system

ChatGPT reportedly said that in one scenario, there is an 85% chance that central banks will adopt digital assets if it can save the financial system from collapse.
Earlier, Vandell Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalism, drew attention to this development in a post on X.
The industry expert posted a screenshot of his exchange with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, asking about the possibility of central banks using XRP to prevent the collapse of the financial system in order to provide instant global liquidity.
ChatGPT responded that there is an 85% chance, suggesting that central banks could indeed implement the use of digital assets if such a measure could prevent the monetary system from failing.
The disclosure attracted attention. XRP community members responded that XRP has the potential to become the "savior" of the global financial system that is mired in inflation, stagflation and recession.
Some even thought it was impossible that this was an illusion. Meanwhile, others are taking a step back and examining the claims surrounding ChatGPT.

An anonymous user on X argued that the post was fake, noting that ChatGPT generally does not answer directly without proper context. The commenter asserted that a true response from AI would likely include a disclaimer about the difficulty of quantifying such a speculative situation with percentages.
On the other hand, former Ripple executive Matt Hamilton shared a screenshot of a similar conversation with the AI. In his case, ChatGPT replied that the chances of a central bank switching to XRP were only 15%, although similar to Aljarrah’s exchange, the answer was also direct.
In response to the discrepancy, Aljarrah revealed that when he asked the same question a second time, the chatbot replied that there was a 20% chance. Others have reported receiving similarly low scores in their interactions with the AI.
These varied responses remind us that the initially reported 85% likelihood of central banks adopting XRP to save the financial system should be viewed with caution and skepticism.
Crypto Basic further investigated the claims, taking advantage of a tip from Coinbase executive Conor Grogan. Following this tip, ChatGPT said there is a 10% chance of central banks turning to XRP, with 90% confidence in its prediction.
