If Ripple reaches 100 after listing, here is the price of XRP

If Ripple stock reaches $100 after its long-awaited initial public offering (IPO), the XRP price could nearly double. There has been a decrease in talk of an upcoming Ripple initial public offering recently, but the company remains committed to going public. Some industry commentators, such as attorney John Deaton, believe the IPO is likely to take place after the conclusion of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) litigation, which has dragged on for nearly four years. Meanwhile, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse revealed in January that the company had considered the possibility of listing overseas due to regulatory issues in the United States. Last month, Garlinghouse stressed that it doesn't make sense to conduct an IPO under the current SEC regulations.

As for Ripple’s IPO, industry leaders remain confident that an IPO in the United States is a viable option, especially given recent significant developments. If this goal is eventually achieved, predictions have been made for a surge in Ripple stock’s per-share value and total valuation. Notably, Linqto, a US investment firm that allows investing in pre-IPO stocks, provided implied figures for Ripple’s valuation and price per share. According to data, Ripple's share price is currently $40.99, with a total valuation of $7.3 billion, an increase from $5.7 billion last year.

In February, media personality Zach Rector suggested that Ripple could have one of the largest IPOs in recent memory due to the company’s large holdings of XRP. If these predictions come true and the IPO pushes Ripple’s stock to high values like $100, some market experts believe that this could have a huge impact on the price of XRP. Crypto Fundamentals recently assessed how much XRP would rise if it rose in proportion to the growth of Ripple stock after its IPO. It is worth noting that based on the current value of $40.99, rising to $100 would require a 2.43x increase. If XRP records a corresponding rise, its price would rise from the current $0.4792 to $1.16.

It is worth noting that according to Linqto, at a price of $100 per share, Ripple’s valuation could reach $17.8 billion, taking into account the issuance of $1.3 billion worth of shares. Forecasts from multiple industry commentators suggest that $17.8 billion may be a low estimate. For example, Deaton predicts Ripple will be valued at $100 billion after its IPO. This forecast would translate to a valuation of $561 per share. If XRP were to rise in the same proportion as Ripple’s shares, its price would surge from its current $0.4792 to $6.56. Additionally, well-known Wall Street veteran Linda Jones predicted that Ripple’s stock could trade at $600 per share, citing its reasoning for holding a large amount of XRP. A price of $600 would require a 14.63x increase in value per share. If XRP rises at the same rate, its price could increase from the current $0.4792 to over $7.
