Cardano wallet Yoroi and newest partner open the door to passive income for ADA holders

Yoroi Wallet, a Cardano-based light wallet, and Bring, a white-label crypto shopping cashback platform, will collaborate to connect blockchain technology with the global retail industry.

The partnership will allow users to earn Cardano’s native cryptocurrency ADA through cashback when shopping with more than 775 retailers worldwide.

Through this collaboration, users will experience a whole new way to passively earn ADA through everyday shopping. According to Monday’s post, the initiative is part of Cardano’s efforts to expand its real-world adoption through practical, user-centric solutions.

ADA cashback integration in Yoroi Wallet

The integration is designed to provide Yoroi Wallet users with a new way to accumulate ADA by shopping with leading brands such as Vaio, JBL, StockX, Samsonite, and Nubul. Users will be able to receive up to 10% cashback in ADA using their credit card or other preferred payment method.

The process will be managed through Yoroi’s interface, allowing users to activate rewards with just a single click. This approach simplifies the process of obtaining ADA, making it more convenient and beneficial for everyday users.

The collaboration is supported by the Cardano Catalyst program, a grant-based initiative that supports the advancement of blockchain use cases in real-world applications. The support from Catalyst enables Bring to further develop its platform within the Cardano ecosystem. Through its integration with Yoroi, Bring aims to establish ADA as a practical component of retail transactions, thereby expanding the utility of Cardano’s native cryptocurrency beyond its traditional role as an investment asset.

Connecting blockchain to retail commerce

Yoroi’s integration of Bring’s cashback rewards fits in with Cardano’s overall strategy of integrating blockchain technology with retail commerce. The introduction of cryptocurrency-based cashback rewards into traditional shopping patterns reflects a shift toward incorporating digital currencies into everyday consumption.

Not only can users earn ADA rewards, but they can also experience how blockchain can be seamlessly integrated into familiar business transactions. This collaboration is an important step towards making blockchain more user-friendly and useful for consumers.

The launch of this integration follows the announcement by Cardano’s founding partner EMURGO of tokenizing gold on the network. In partnership with Kinka Gold, Cardano will launch its first gold-backed token, XNK.

Each XNK token will represent a certain amount of Japanese gold that meets the highest LBMA standards. Tokenized gold further highlights Cardano’s commitment to expanding its on-chain economy and supporting the growth of real asset tokens.
